DescriptionThis mod adds 5 spider nests to the Mojave wasteland, three small ones, one medium one and one big one. This mod is more just a proof of concept that I figure i'd share with the public.
I found this mod the other day and realized only a follower was made with the meshes. So I took my try at making a mod and one that would add these spiders to the Wasteland. These spiders can be really tough at low levels, and you better bring some anti-venom.
This mod now features different versions of spider: Big Spider, Bigger Spider and one surprise spider.I had bigger ideas for this mod, but my modding skills are limited. If anyone would like to take this mod and expand on it or revamp it than please go right ahead. Just be sure to credit the proper people when you do it.How To Install1. Dan - who started out as a modder for Morrowind, Skyrim, and Fallout New Vegas - has close to two decades of experience in the video game industry under his belt and his talk on Ten Principles for Good Level Design at the Game Developer's Conference 2013 is cu. That was something else. Only minor niggle (and of course there has to be one) is the wobbly mountains at the start.
Do you play in Hardcore mode? Has one of your companions ever died from poisoning? There was nothing you could do about it, because companions never take anitvenom. Even if you deposit antivenom in their inventory, they still won't take it.
This mod changes that. It makes antivenom useful for companions.A new Miscellaneous item is added to the game: the 'Companion Poison Cure Injector.'
It looks like a stimpak. This mod places one on the rolling bed opposite the bed you originally wake from in Doc Mitchell's house. Fallout new vegas caps glitch after patch. See the screen image. The injector can also be made at any workbench. How to use it:1) Make sure your companion has antivenom in their inventory.2) Open your companion's inventory via the companion wheel, then transfer the CPC Injector to the companion.3) Exit the companion wheel, and look at the messages which are displayed. That's all you need to do.
One unit of antivenom will be deleted from the companion's inventory, and the injector will be dropped on the ground. The anitvenom will operate on the companion. Don't forget to pick up the injector. If the companion does not have antivenom, then nothing happens to the companion, and the injector is still dropped on the ground. The injector itself is never consumed. Here is what get's cured by the injector & antivenom, when using the base game's antivenom:Dispel BarkScorpionPoisonDispel CazadorPoisonDispel DeathClawPoisonDispel DLC03FeralGhoulPoisonDispel DLC03RadScorpion3PoisonDispel NightstalkerPoisonDispel RadScorpion1PoisonDispel RadScorpion2PoisonIn my game the companion's health is not restored after the poison cure. The companion stops taking damage from poison, but you'll need to use some stimpaks to get their health back to 100%.INSTALLATION: Just extract the esp to your game's Data folder.Versions:121123.01 - Original121123.02 - Changed the injector script to equip the antivenom, rather than just duplicate it's script. This should allow the injector to work with mods that modify antivenom.121216.01 - Added a workbench recipe for the injector.Comments are welcomed! Please also check out my mod.
